It sounds like you are either trying to wire a new trailer or rewire an old trailer. If that is the case then I do have options for you but I do not have any reference to an "elicit axle/trailer". In order to wire/rewire your trailer we will first need to determine how many powered circuits it has.

The majority of smaller trailers will only have three powered circuits which are for left side stop/turn lights, right side stop/turn lights, and running lights. If this is all you have then you will need to use a 4-way trailer connector like the 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness part # A35W42B which has five wires. The white wire is for ground, the two brown wires are for running lights (one on each side of frame), the yellow wire is for the left stop/turn light, and the green wire is for the right stop/turn light.

The majority of larger trailers will have six powered circuits which are for left side stop/turn lights, right side stop/turn lights, running lights, brake output, battery charge, and reverse lights. As long as you do not have more than six powered circuits then you will need to use a 7-way like the Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit part # e99011 which has seven wires. The white wire is for ground, the green wire is for running lights, the red wire is for the left stop/turn light, the brown wire is for the right stop/turn light, the blue wire is for brake output, the black wire is for 12 volt power, and the yellow wire is for reverse.

In order to match the above wires on either harness to the lights on your trailer you will need to apply 12 volt power to each wire on the light to see which bulb is illuminated. There are standard wire colors which I have attached for you in the diagram but this is not always accurate so you will need to test with 12 volt power before making the connections.

I have attached sample install video for you as well on each harness.
