If your slide-in camper on your 2001 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD has a 7-Way connector you can use the Pollak 7-Way T-Connector, part # PK11893-11932. This wiring harness will install inline with your existing 7-Way wiring harness and allow you to use the 7-Way connector at the rear of the truck as well as the new 7-Way connector installed in the bed for fifth-wheels and campers.
I would also be cautious if using both 7-Way connectors at the same time. Using the lights on the camper and a trailer at the same time should not cause a problem, but any other 12 volt accessories used at the same time could overload your vehicles wiring system.
