Parts Needed to Rewire Trailer with 7-Way and New Wiring

Just brought a 87’ gooseneck trailer 7-way and the left side of the lights are out so I’ve decided to rewire the whole trailer. Would you happen to know what I need to purchase to complete this project

We offer handy junction box kits like # e99011 that let you install a new 7-way plug and make the connections for each circuit on the trailer. You will need ring terminals like # 44-5310A to make the connections in the junction box; use butt connectors like # DW05745-10 to splice in any new brake wiring like part # 10-2-1. This is double bonded 10 gauge wire that you can use for power and ground for the brake assemblies. Or if you planned on grounding the assemblies to the trailer frame you'd just need part # 10-1-1 for a single wire.

For the lighting functions we have 14 gauge wire by the foot as part # DW02412-1.
