Can Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System 600 lb Trunnion Bars be Upgraded to 1,000 lb Bars
Question:
We just upgraded our travel trailer from a Jay 195 RB to a Jayco 21QB. Dry weight of the 21QB is 4455 lbs. and the dry hitch weight is 530 lbs. We were using a Fastway E2 WD hitch rated at 600 tongue weight for our 195 RB but we will exceed the 600 lb. tongue weight with the new trailer once we are loaded. Can I just order the 1000 lb. Trunnion bars to upgrade our current WD hitch or do I need to order a complete new WD hitch? If that is possible would that be a good WD system for towing the 21QB. All of our trips are less than 200 miles. Thanks,

Yes, you can simply order the Replacement Trunnion Spring Bars for Fastway e2 Weight Distribution Systems # FA92-01-1099 which are rated for 1,000 lbs of tongue weight and use them with your Fastway e2 Weight Distribution # FA92-00-0600.
Doing this will give you the 1,000 lb capacity you are looking to use. I've added a link to a video review of these bars for you to check out as well.
