Can Part # RP3344 be used to replace Part # RP54970 to obtain greater drop distance with WD System Part # RP66084? Thanks

Yes the Reese Weight Distribution Shank - Drop Only # RP3344 is compatible with the Reese Strait-Line Weight Distribution System # RP66084.
This shank, when used with a trunnion bar system like the aforementioned Strait-Line will give you a minimum drop of 6-3/8" and a maximum drop of 7-5/8".
