What Trailer Wiring Harness Do I Need If My Vehicle and Trailer Both Have LED Lights
Question:
Will this unit work with LED lights that are installed in the car and trailer?

I do have an option for you but the Hopkins Plug-In Simple Vehicle Wiring Harness part # HM11143175 is not designed to be used on a vehicle with LED tail lights. The issue is that the LED lights do not carry enough of a load therefore what we call a powered converter is needed and for that I recommend using the Curt Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56236 which will work with both LED lights on the vehicle and trailer. However, this harness as you can tell requires splicing but you do not have any other options save for converting the vehicle back to incandescents because they don't make a plug-in harness for your Civic with aftermarket LED tail lights.
