Correct B&W Companion Fifth Wheel Hitch for 2012 Dodge Ram 3500

RE: Companion fifth wheel hitch I have a 2012 ram 3500 4 x 4 with a non-factory B and W goose neck hitch already installed. What fifth wheel companion hitch will I need for this application? Thanks

The correct B&W Companion for your 2012 Dodge Ram 3500 with the B&W Turnoverball gooseneck already installed will depend on if you have a 6-1/2 foot bed or an 8 foot bed because you will need either a sliding hitch if you have a short bed or a fixed hitch for a long bed.

For a 6-1/2 foot bed you need the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # BWRVK3400-5W.

For an 8 foot bed you need the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVK3500-5W.

By non-factory B&W gooseneck I do assume you mean the Turnoverball but just to be thorough, in order to use the Companion you would need the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck # BWGNRK1313-5W if your '12 Ram 3500 was a Diesel engine or the B&W Turnoverball Gooseneck # BWGNRK1308-5W if your '12 Ram 3500 was a Gasoline engine.

The reason for this is the Companion utilizes the Turnoverball's specific gooseneck hole as an attachment point.
