Can SeaSucker Monkey Bars be Installed on Tear Trailer to Carry Bikes

I am getting a vintage Trailer, and I would like to carry bikes on it. Without damaging the trailer. It’s a 1952 Crown vintage 14 foot trailer, polished aluminum, with a slowing back. Would the Monkey bars be a good fit? Would the sloping back diminish the carrying capacity? Would another solution be more effective?

Although the SeaSucker Monkey Bars # 298-SX6000B would fit they do make me a little nervous since your trailer slopes down going from the front to the back. These vacuum cups each have a pull strength rating of 210 lbs but at that slope it would put more weight at different areas for both the roof rack and any bike rack that you would use.

A better option for your situation might be the Jack-It # LC429756 which mounts in the same location as the A-Frame jack and fits around jacks that have up to a 2-1/4" outer tube diameter. This allows you to carry up to 2 bikes and has a weight capacity of up to 80 lbs. One of the best things about this bike rack is that you can also get the Bump-It Adapter # LC723359 so you can mount the bike rack in the hitch receiver of your tow vehicle once you reach your destination.

Attached are some dimensional photos of the Jack-It for you to reference and compare with the room on your Crown vintage trailer. If you don't think this bike rack will work out just let me know the year/make/model of your tow vehicle and I can see if we have any other options out there for you.
