What Does C on Display of Prodigy P2 Brake Controller Indicate
Question:
Nissan Titan XD trailer brake shows c with trailer connected. I can adjust gain and apply brakes manually with good success. Then it displays c again. Am I in peril of not being able to brake?

Sounds like your Prodigy P2 part # 90885 is wired up and functioning correctly. C on the display just means that a trailer connection is sensed. What happens when you touch the brakes? The display should jump to the level of braking it's applying to your trailer. If not, you have an issue with the red wire of the controller not being attached to a circuit that sees 12 volts only when the brakes are applied.
