Can Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor Install Through Two Boards Next to Each Other
Question:
My trailer has 5/4x6 deck boards - would it be okay to split the hole in between them so the d ring and backing plate mounts with two bolts in each board? It seems stronger than drilling a 3.5” hole in the middle of a 5/4 board to me but I just wanted an expert opinion before I start drilling. Thanks!!

You could install the Brophy D-Ring Tie Down Anchor # RR5K the way you described if you like. You could put two bolts through two boards right next to each other if you like.
