Recommended A-Frame Coupler for Flatbed/Car Hauler Trailer

Im looking to build a flat bed, car hauler type trailer. What type of latching mechanism do you guys recommend for something that will have upwards tongue weight from loading operatins? Currenlty looking at yoke latch, and sleeve/collar locks/

The Yoke style or Collar-Lok style couples are definitely the best to use when it comes to loading heavy weight in a trailer, like a car. I recommend looking into the weight of your trailer and the vehicle you plan on hauling before deciding on a coupler. The A-Frame Trailer Coupler # CA-5210-B is a great option that is rated for up to 8,000 lbs but if you are needing something rated even higher than that the Bulldog Collar-Lok # BD028463 or # BD028499 is the better route to go as they are rated for up to 12,500 lbs.
