How To Ground New Trailer Lights that Ground Through Hardware

I have a 70ish trillium camper I put new lights where the old ones where mounted to the fiberglass new wiring harness all checks out Im getting power but the lights want work! I think its a ground problem ? The harness is grounded at the farm how do I ground lights with no ground wire?

The problem is the ground. A lot of trailer lights ground through the mounting hardware but not all trailer applications have lights that attach to metal portions of the trailer which then touch the trailer frame. So what you'll need to do is run a jumper wire from the ground of your lights to the frame or back up to the main ground of the wiring harness and you'll see the lights start to work again.
