Parts Needed To Install a 5th Wheel Rail Kit on a 2019 Ford F-250

In order to install an above bed rail kit on your 2019 Ford F-250 (short or long bed), I recommend using the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit part # C16428-204. This kit is all inclusive meaning it has everything that you need to install a 5th wheel hitch and it is also a custom fit so no drilling into the frame is required. I have attached an install video on this kit for you as well.

If you don't already have a 5th wheel hitch then I recommend using the Curt A20 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ R20 Slider part # C16541. I like the Curt A20 because it has 1" thick, dual interlocking jaws which will do a phenomenal job of reducing chucking and it has an easy one pin head removal system that allows you to remove/install the unit in two pieces. This then makes it possible for one person to remove/install the unit themselves.

The only other thing you may need is an in-bed wiring harness, the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness part # C57008.
