Question:
What I have Is dual axles with a fixed front eye and a open eye slipper at the equalizers. Bolts are 25 3/4inch on center. springs are 1 3/4 wide. I am replacing the axles with 3500 pound axles. Which axle would you recommend? Thank you

In order to determine which axle is correct for your trailer we need to find out what your hub face (HF) and spring center (SC) measurements are. If you take a look at the photo I have attached for you that should then help with obtaining the above two measurements. The most important thing we need to look for is the hub face as the spring center can then be moved (within a range) if we need to. I have attached a list of the 3,500 lb axles we offer in the varying hub face and spring center measurements below:
Dexter Trailer Axle Beam 95" HF and 80" SC - part # 7359765 (SC Range = 11.25" Min and 18" Max)
Dexter Trailer Axle Beam 89" HF and 74" SC - part # T3584F-EZ-8974 (SC Range = 11.25" Min and 18" Max)
Dexter Drop Trailer Axle Beam 95" HF and 80" SC - part # 7685269 (SC Range = 14.00" Min and 18" Max)
Dexter Drop Trailer Axle Beam 89" HF and 74" SC - part # 8327812 (SC Range = 14.00" Min and 18" Max)
If you need to move the spring seat either up or down or side to side then you will also need two of part # TRSS238. Please note that when replacing the axles you will also need new u-bolts, part # APUBR-1. If you would like to replace the leaf springs as well then the closest option we have is the 4-Leaf Slipper Spring w/ Flat End part # SP-040275 which measures 30" end to end.
