Question:
When pulling my trailer of 5000 lbs, when starting from a stoplight the 2014 f150 4door 6.5 box shutter as though the transmission is slipping. I’m told that the transmission is fine that it’s the rear springs flexing, traction bars fixes this in a dragster. Would firestone air bags help solve this issue?

Since the issue is with your leaf springs flexing I recommend using a RoadActive Suspension (RAS) Custom Leaf Spring Enhancement Kit for your 2014 Ford F-150 as opposed to a Firestone Ride-Rite kit. The reason being that the RAS gives support directly to the leaf spring while the Firestone alternative will only come into play once when your vehicle is under load.
If you have a 2WD then you need the kit # RAS3611 but for a 4WD you need the kit # RAS3611-Y. Please note that neither of these will fit a Raptor model and the 4WD model will not fit if you have a Regular Cab. If you happen to fall into one of these categories then another solution is the SuperSprings Kit # SSA28. This acts the same way as the RAS but it isn't customizable like the RAS is.
I have attached some videos that you can check out for each system.
