Question:
We made the mistake of trying to retract our Solera awning while it had about 80 lbs of water trapped in the middle. It no longer works. I checked all the fuses inside my trailer and they all seem OK. Is there a fuse somewhere around the motor or in the arm? Im hoping to rule out a blown fuse before I purchase a new motor. We have a 2014 Forest River Shasta Flyte. Weve only had it about 5 months. Not sure if the awning is original or if it was an add on.

There aren't any fuses in the motor or arm. It is possible that the motor burned out or the drive head gears # LC353964 have gone bad. If you need a replacement motor then you will use the Solera Power Awning Replacement Motor # LC266149.
The best way to test is to remove the head housing and use a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to check the wires going into the motor for power. If you have power going into the motor when you press the switch then you know that the motor is bad. If you don't have power, you may have a switch that has gone bad. You can use # LC285500 for black or # LC285499 for white if you have power to the switch but nothing leaving that switch when engaged.
Once you have solved your electrical issue, I recommend the Camco RV Awning De-Flapper MAX - Qty 2 # CAM42251
