Question:
Can over 80inch tail lights be used on an under 80inch trailer? Are the wiring connections the same? Thank you.

Expert Reply:
Trailers that are over 80 inches wide require additional lighting above what is required for trailers under 80 inches in width, but the over 80 or under 80 size will have no bearing on the wiring connections. So yes, the Optronics Trailer Light Kit for Trailers over 80" Wide # TL16RK can certainly be used on trailers that are under 80 inches wide.
