I do have an option for you but there is no way to override the auto shutoff feature on the Rear View Safety Wireless Hitch Camera part # RVS-83112. If you wanted a similar camera system that does not have a shutoff feature then you can use the Swift Hitch Wireless Hitch Alignment Camera and Monitor part # 04928 which has a four hour battery life as well as night vision.

If you want to mount the Swift monitor to ether your windshield or vents you can use the Windshield Mount and Vent Holder for Swift Hitch Wireless Monitor part # PC03 otherwise you can just prop it up on something.
