Baggage Door Latch for Door on Travel Trailer
Question:
I purchased two Tri Mark 60-460 Baggage Door Lock assemblies with metal plungers.They will not work, due to my door thickness being 3/4. Will your brand work on my door? Thanks.

Global Link RV Baggage Door Slam Latch # 295-000078 is a replacement for Global Link, Fastec (FIC), Bauer, or Lippert Components standard baggage door locks. However unlikely, it is possible your RV could have custom locks made for the 3/4-inch door thickness.
To help you determine if this can work I measured part # 295-000078. From the gasketed surface that contacts the door's exterior to the near side of the plunger the spacing is approximately 5/8-inch; this is shown in the linked photo.
If possible, please send me a photo showing a side view of your open baggage door so I can see the door jamb and also a photo of your original lock.
