why do i have a gap between my goose box and my pin box mount. It had a lippert 1621 rotoflex. do i need spacers

If the gap you are referring to is between the wings on the trailer and side plates of the Reese Goose Box part # RP94720 then yes, you will need a spacer, the Spacer Kit for Rotating Turret for 5th Airborne and Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pins part # RP61301. Some of the Lippert 1621 pin boxes do require the spacer if the two wings are 12-1/2" apart. We always recommend to measure this beforehand.
