Is the Swagman Semi 2.0 Bike Rack Stable When Installed in Hitch

Thank you for creating the video of Swagman Semi 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack - 1-1/4inch and 2inch Hitches - Tilting. Its awesome to actually view the performance of a bike rack. While I assume that shaking and bouncing is to be expected - how does it compare to other racks? Can the performance be rated on a scale of 10? If so, where would this fall? Thanks, P.S. Car = 2018 Honda CRV. w/1 1/4inch receiver

Glad you like the video; we want to give people as much information as possible about what they're getting so they know it is the product for them and the test course videos are a great way to see how a bike rack performs.

The bounce you see with the Swagman Semi 2.0 2-Bike Platform Rack # S64686 in the linked road test video is - as you correctly assumed - completely normal; there is no way to totally eliminate a bit of movement.

While I appreciate your suggestion of ranking it on a scale from 1 to 10, that's not really the best way to do it because some bike racks come with an anti-rattle feature and some do not. Racks with an anti-rattle feature, such as the anti-rattle hitch pin on the Swagman, are designed to be a 10 from manufacturers and Semi 2.0 is no different.

The Swagman Semi 2.0 # S64686 will fit snugly in a 1-1/4 inch hitch like the Draw-Tite # 36597 on your 2018 Honda CR-V and be a very stable and secure way for you to carry your bikes.
