Replacement Washer and Nut for EZ Lube Spindle on Escort Boat Trailer
Question:
Hello! I have a boat trailer Escort 1991 with drum brakes 12 Diameter - 6 on 5-1 / 2. Hub bearing collapsed. I bought and installed a new LM67048 / LM67010. The hub nut and washers are also damaged. I measured the diameter of the thread on the spindle: 25 mm. Is it an inch 1 ”-14 thread? Is there another, similar in size, thread on the spindle? I had a castle nut with a washer: 5-101 Question: Does this kit fit RG05-100 to the spindle of my trailer? Thank You!

The Replacement Spindle Washer - Tang Type for E-Z Lube # 5-101 is the correct fit for your trailer spindle based on the picture and measurement if you want to use a castle nut like # 165686.
The alternative option is the Spindle Nut Kit for EZ Lube Axles # RG05-100 which uses a different style retainer for the nut.
Either options will work well for you. You may also want the zerk fitting # GZERK to replace the fitting on your spindle which is a confirmed fit since Dexter uses the standard 1/4 inch thread fitting.
