Could Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier w/ Hitch Mounted Load Extender Be Used on SUV
Question:
Want to use on a 2018 Mazda CX-5 without a roof rack system. SInce I already have a trailer hitch with a 2inch receiver, dont see why it would not work if I put the roof bar over the front seats. Your thoughts?

The one thing you'll want to check is to make sure the height range for the upright of the Darby Extend-A-Truck Kayak Carrier w/ Hitch Mounted Load Extender # DTA944-968-924 would be compatible with the height from your hitch to the roof of your 2018 Mazda CX-5. The upright height range is 53-3/8" - 60-3/8". If that is a range that would allow the bars to sit level between them then this would work well for you.
