There are a few things that could be the issue with your Ultra-Fab electric tongue jack 3502 # UF38-944017. The switch, the motor, the threaded rod or the gears could have gone bad. There is also an auto-reset circuit breaker and a 30-amp slow blow fuse.

To determine the issue, I first recommend manually trying to operate it using the 9/16 inch socket. If you can raise and lower the jack, we know the mechanical components of threaded rod and gears work. If not, then it is time to replace the jack.

Next I recommend checking for power going into the switch using a circuit tester like # PTW2993. If there is power going into the switch, then check to see is there is power going out of the switch when activated. If not, you will want to replace the switch with # UF38-75-1037. You can test the circuit breaker in this same way as there should be power in and power out. If not, replace with # UF38-101238. Next check inside the motor casing for the fuse. If needed use the Replacement 30-Amp Slow Blow Fuse for Ultra-Fab 3,500-lb Electric A-Frame Jack # UF38-751034. If all of this checks out, then you will need to replace the jack as the motor is not a replaceable part offered.
