Question:
I want to use the Sidewinder, but have heard that there are certain Curt hitches that it not compatible with. Thanks for your help

The Curt Q-series and A-series 5th wheel hitches are the only Curt hitches not compatible with a Sidewinder pin box. Instead of these models, you can use something like the Curt E16 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Slide Bar Jaw - 16,000 lbs # C16115. If you have the prep package then you'll also need Adapter rails # C47BR. If you don't have prep package then you'll instead need Rail Kit # C16411-204.
To swap out your standard pin box with a rotating/sidewinder pin box you will need to know the bolt pattern of your current pin box. Once you know what your bolt pattern is you can find the corresponding fit. For example the # RP61412 will fit a Lippert 1116 or 1716 bolt pattern. If you go with this sidewinder and hitch setup, then you'll also need Wedge # RP64FR to keep the king pin from rotating inside the hitch.
