Recommended Tail Lights for a ShoreLandr Boat Trailer

Question:

I am thinking about replacing my tail lights on a shore lander boat trailer. If I do what kit would you recommend? And led or incandescent? Do they offer a three bar in any kits. Reason for replacement I am starting to have light issues on my trailer now. Also I would like them to be water submersible.

If you are just looking for tail lights then I highly recommend the Optronics LED Combination Trailer Tail Lights # TLL160RK because they are submersible LEDs so you know they will be safe when you back into the water (provided you disconnect your trailer wiring first of course) and they will last a very long time.

For trailer light kits that come with wiring I recommend part # TLL36RK if your trailer is over 80" wide or part # TLL56RK if your boat trailer is under 80" wide. These use similar LED tail lights and the only main difference is that the kit for over 80" wide comes with some side marker lights.

We don't have any kits that come with a tail light bar but you can definitely add one like the LED # STL59RB if you wanted that center light bar. You'd just need to connect it to your stop and tail lights. I don't recommend connecting it to a turn signal though because then it'd be tied just to one side of the trailer.

I have attached some review videos you can reference as well.
