Will Tekonsha Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite Draw Power Without Trailer Connected
Question:
Does the converter draw any amperage when no trailer is connected? I am considering adding a relay to power this to ignition because Im concerned about parasitic draw on battery .

No, the Tekonsha Upgraded Heavy Duty ModuLite # 119190 will not draw any power on your 2013 Harley Davidson Tri Glide after installation unless a trailer is connected to the tow vehicle. Basically the black wire draws power from the battery so it will always be "hot" but this is no different than a 12V circuit that you'd plug an accessory in or that exists on most pickups today. We have the Wiring Kit # 118151 that you can use which includes the wiring, fuse, and connectors you need to help you complete the wiring to the battery.
You can also get all of this in the kit # 119190KIT.
