Question:
Hello. Im looking for an a-frame coupler to replace the one currently on my Casita travel trailer. I currently use an extended ball mount so that my tailgate clears the tongue jack. Your specs dont include a dimension from the ball center to the jack hole center. Im wondering if any of the replacement couplers have a greater span between those two points than the others do, or than is standard. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Yes, there are trailer couplers that have a greater distance between the center of the coupler where the ball sits to the center of the jack tube hole. However, this is not really by design for this exact purpose and I am not sure it would get you the extra clearance you need to lower your tailgate without hitting the tongue jack. The best option for this is an extended ball mount like you are using now.
That said, the Sleeve-Lock A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # CA-5196-B will provide more distance from the center of the coupler where the ball sits to the center of the jack tube hole in comparison to the A-Frame Trailer Coupler part # CA-5210-B by about 2".
