Question:
Hello, I wish to replace the hubs on this trailer. I am going to purchase the Taskmaster 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12inch White Spoke Wheel - 4 on 4 - Load Range C - TA89RR. I will be on the highway with loads under 900 lbs. Which set of Hubs would best fit this need? Thank You

There are a few different options. The determining factor is the spindle of your axle. If you have 1 inch spindles then the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 4 on 4 # AKIHUB-440-2-1K are the best fit. If you have 1.063 inch spindles, then the Trailer Idler Hub Assembly for 2,000-lb Axles - 4 on 4 # AKIHUB-440-2-2K are the better fit. If you aren't sure which hubs you need, you can pull your current hub and look for the bearing number printed on the face of the bearing. If you can't determine the number then use a digital caliper like # PTW80157. Simply measure the spindles where the bearings sit.
Either of these options will work well with the Taskmaster 4.80-12 Bias Trailer Tire with 12" White Spoke Wheel - 4 on 4 # TA89RR you referenced.
