Parts Needed To Install a Husky 16K 5th Wheel Hitch on a 2012 Ford F-250
Question:
I recently purchased an 5th wheel huaky 16k unit with the mechanical slider option and bed rails from a friend whom had on an 11 2500 GM. Im looking to install it on my 12 F350 and need frame brakets to match up along with hardware to install bed rails and brakets. Thank you in advance for the help. I would rather not drill frame truck frame to install brakets if at all posible.

The best option I have for you to install the Husky 16K 5th Wheel Hitch on your 2012 Ford F-250 would be to use the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit part # C16424-204 which is a custom fit kit so no drilling is required. I assume you have Husky Base Rails part # HT30686 and if that is the case then the frame brackets that go with these, the Husky Semi-Custom Mounting Bracket Kit part # HT31408, require drilling. It is not recommended to mix base rails and frame brackets so your best option is to ditch the Husky Base Rails and install the Curt Custom 5th Wheel Installation Kit.
