Question:
I have a Civic 2015 day with a spoiler put on by a mechanic AFTER I bought it. Do you think the rack will fit my car? The spoiler is about 3.25 inches above the edge of trunk , if that makes any sense.

For your 2015 Honda Civic with an aftermarket spoiler Thule makes a trunk rack that will fit well. It is the part # TH911XT, the Thule Passage for 3 bikes. This rack is designed to fit over top of a rear spoiler like what you have and provide a solid mount for a trunk mounted bike rack. However, this will not work on the Honda Civic Si models.
