Roof Rack and Kayak Carrier Recommendation for 2019 Volkswagen Jetta with Naked Roof

I saw this reply on your website which is extremely helpful. But what, additionally, would I need to add to this to be able to carry 2 kayaks on the roof of my 2019 VW Jetta ? From your website: Expert Reply: I checked with Yakima who makes a roof rack that fits your 2019 Volkswagen Jetta and they state that with their rack installed there might be some interference with roof rack mounted accessories and the sunroof from opening which means that with just the crossbars installed youd be able to open the roof. For a roof rack youd need the part # Y06163, # Y06136, # Y00425, and # Y00146 and youd be set. expert reply by: Jameson

Aside from the Yakima roof rack part # Y06163, # Y06136, # Y00425, and # Y28TR for your 2019 Volkswagen Jetta you'll also need carriers for the kayaks. I really like the Yakima JayLow part # Y04073 as it's easy to load, padded, and can fold down when not in use. This would give you a great way to carry both of your kayaks on your Jetta.

Then to lock it all you'd want the part # Y07206 which comes with enough cores for the roof rack and the carrier.
