Do Fifth Wheel Rails Have A Weight Rating
Question:
Im not seeing the weight rating for this base rail kit. Do you know what it is? Also will installation of this kit interfere with a BandW turnover ball Gooseneck hitch in a 2015 ram 2500? Thanks

Fifth Wheel Rails like Demco Hijacker Premier Series rails part # DM8552025-71 are not rated. What is rated for weight capacity is the hitch that goes on the rails such as the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch part # DM8550035 which is rated for 21,000 lbs. The only way to install the fifth wheel rails is to remove the gooseneck hitch you have installed in your truck because they install in the same spots on the frame.
