For your 2007 Chevy Avalanche no plug is present under the dash, but the needed wires are already run. You will connect the brake controller wiring with the vehicle wiring already present under the dash. If you check out the attached help article the entire process will be covered. The great news is you don't have to buy anything to install your controller! If you have a harness with a connector on it you could simply cut the connector off and attach the wiring directly.
