The Thule Apex Swing XT 4 Bike Rack for 2" Hitches - Swinging # TH9027XT can be be used on the rear of a motorhome; it has no restrictions except for not being installed on a trailer (or other towed vehicle) so the rear of a motorhome is fine!
The only other thing to note is that with any hanging rack like the Apex Swing you'll need bike frame adapter bar # TH982XT if your bike is dual-suspension, has a step-through frame or you want to carry a small children's bike. The bar will give those bikes a horizontal mounting point so they can be carried by the rack.
I've added links to video reviews of both the rack and adapter bar for you to check out.

I currently have the Thule 4 bike swing rack, can I mount a 2in receiver hitch on the bumper of a Springdale 240BH Travel Trailer? Will it hold the weight? 86702
You could certainly add a hitch to the rear of your Springdale 240BH, but unfortunately the Thule Apex Swing # TH9027XT isn't rated for use on a trailer. You will want to go with something that's built for this application like the excellent Yakima LongHaul # Y02476 . For the hitch itself the Curt # C13704 should work well. 69517
