Question:
When not towing Spectrums blue light sends me up the wall. So I disconnect the unit when Im not towing. This weekend I plug the unit back in and the Spectrum is dead. It doesnt like being plugged in and out I guess. Will Curt cover this under warranty or Im I out the cost on a new one or go back to a P2 which can be unplugged with no issues and no annoying blue lights.

Curt should cover that. But the Curt controllers in general are just less reliable than the P2 part # 90885 that you mentioned. If I was going to recommend you the best option I'd say go back to the P2, see if Curt might warranty the controller, and then sell it used.
