Dimensions of Channel Tongue Trailer Couplers for 2 Inch Frame

Question:

can you provide the vertical dimension i.e. from top of coupler to center of mounting holes? Looking for a direct replacement for an old Fulton 1937 for which I wont have to drill additional holes and weaken the tongue. Picture attached that shows my existing dimensions

Between the bolt holes of coupler # CT-3001-Z I measured the same 3-1/16 inch. They're also 1/2 inch holes like yours. From the top to the center of the holes I measured about 1-5/16 to maybe even 1-3/8 inches. With that being said measuring from inside the coupler's channel from the top to the center of the bolt hole makes more sense. If the metal of the new one is thicker than the old one it'll still fit exactly the same even with the outside measurement being different. So I measured on the inside and got right at 1-3/16 inches. So if you measure from the top of your trailer's tongue, not counting the bolted on coupler, the center of the bolt holes and come up with 1-3/16 inches you have a match.

Question:

Thanks for our quick answer, unfortunately it sees that the mounting holes are to low on the coupler to directly replace my old Fulton. Can you provide the same dimensions for your Item # F222000301?

Absolutely. I took the same measurements on the Fulton # F222000301 and I think it'll work for you. The bolt hole distance matches. From the top to the bolt hole centers is right at 1-1/8 or 1-3/16 inches on the outside and about 15/16 of an inch on the inside.
