Can Non-Ducted Vent Assembly be Used with Atwood Air Command AT15028
Ok, so its my fault. In my haste to cool off this summer, I ordered the Atwood 15028 ducted unit, and the 15021 non-ducted lower unit. This is going on a bus conversion, so definitely a non-ducted application. My question is, will the 15021 lower unit work with the 15028 upper? Could it be as simple as capping the leads for the thermostat and furnace and plugging the lower unit thermostat in? Or is there more that I missing, and possibly made an expensive mistake. Thanks in advance!

Your bus application is definitely a non-ducted application so you are on the right track now in that you need a non-ducted AC setup. Since you ordered a ducted setup currently you could replace the lower duct setup with the non-ducted vent assembly part # AT15021 that you referenced and you'd be set. The top units between the Atwood ducted and non-ducted kits are the exact same including the wiring.
That said, depending on shipping cost offsets it might be better to return the ducted setup you have now and order an all new kit that way you don't have extra parts you'll never use laying around.
