Dimensions of Reese Goose Box 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter # 94720
Question:
I have the RP94720 and am sorting out which mounting position/ball to use with a new 5th wheel and a new F350 4x4 drw. Looking over past qanda, for the 19.2 inch dimension shown: -At the top, its for the front bottom bolt. On the drawing, it looks like this is dimensioned from the bottom of this bolt hole. Is that the case, or is it from the center of the front bottom bolt hole? -At the bottom, its referred to as the bottom center of coupler and bottom of coupler. Is it dimensioned from the bottom of the coupler not counting the knuckle on the rear of the coupler that is a bit lower? And I see a 22 inch dimension from the bottom of the coupler to the top of the back of the goosebox: -Is this from the bottom of the coupler excluding the knuckle at the rear of the coupler to the top of the side plates at the rear of the goosebox? -Also, do you know how much of the ball height is up in the coupler i.e., distance from the top of the ball to the bottom of the coupler? Thanks!

If you take a look at the dimensional drawing of the Reese Goose Box # RP94720 I attached, you can see that it measures 18.56 inches from the middle of the bottom bolt hole and the bottom of the coupler where the ball connects, so not the "knuckle" that you correctly stated makes it slightly lower.
The 22.83 inch overall height dimensions is also from the bottom of the coupler where the ball connects and excludes the aforementioned knuckle. In regards to the last dimension you asked about, the entire gooseneck hitch ball will be in the coupler, so the height will simply be that of the gooseneck hitch ball itself.
