Question:
We bought a Thule bike that can swing open. We have a 2 inch hitch., the bike rack appears to a moving around a lot and is not completely straight. Do you have any suggestions to keep the rack more sturdy.

I recommend starting by just taking a look and ensuring the anti-rattle device of your bike rack is functioning properly and in good working order, and if it is, we do have a great solution. Since your Thule Apex Swing XT 4 Bike Rack # TH9027XT is moving more than you like (commonly referred to as "play") to help reduce that, I strongly recommend the Cam Buckle Stabilizing Strap for Hitch-Mounted Accessories # 18050.
One end of the strap goes around your bike rack and the other goes to your vehicle; the tension between the rack and your car will ensure that any movement is significantly reduced.
I have added a link to a video review showing how the straps work and a link to a video showing the straps in action on a test course so you can see just how effective they are.
