Question:
I have a ez load boat trailer with tandem axles. I believe the axles are 3500lbs axles. I currently have surge breaks that haven’t worked in years. I need new bearings and seals and think it’s time to just get breaks back on my trailer. I would like electronic breaks because I usually travel long distances and because of the cost. Could you recommend disk breaks or drum breaks. I would need the complete setup because what I have currently is in rough shape. Thanks!

First thing we need to do is verify for sure what axles/spindles your trailer has so that we can pick out the correct hub/drums that will fit them and then go from there to pick out the rest of the brake parts needed.
I attached a couple help article links that are guides for your exact situation of adding brakes to a trailer. These will guide you through the entire process of what's needed to install brakes on your trailer.
Question:
Hi I just found another article by e trailer about how to find my spindle size. My axles are: B:1.7” C:1.4 D:1.1 Can you recommend what disk and drum breaks I could use on my boat trailer. Thanks,

Sounds like you have an 84 spindle which is common for 3,500 lb trailer axles based on the dimensions you listed.
So to go with drum breaks you'd want the part # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K for the hub/drums and then for assemblies part # 23-27 and part # 23-26.
