Recommended Bike Rack for Womens Bike with Fenders and Basket

see attached photo - please note the front of the bike - will this bike rack still secure that tire?

I do have an option for you but the Kuat Transfer 2 Bike Platform Rack part # TS02B won't work with your wife's bike because there is a fender in the way that the hook needs to secure too. If you place the hook in front of the fender you run the risk of it falling off and losing the bike. Instead, the Saris Freedom 2 Bike Platform Rack part # SA4412B would be a much better option because you would hook the frame clamp to the drop tube without needing an adapter bar or having to worry about the fender/basket.

I have attached a photo of the above rack being used with a similar type of bike.
