Will a High Coupler Height On a Boat Trailer Affect Stability

Question:

i have a 2017 f350 platinum. i am purchasing a boat which sits on an EZ loader trailer which has a very high coupling position. My truck receiver height is about 23 inches and the coupler is at 28-29. I realize that people have rise and hitches all the time but does this height have an effect on stability? or am i to assume that the EZ Loader has worked with the boat manufacturer to some extent to make the trailer specifically optimal to the boat? I am thinking of ordering the BWTS20040B for this application.

I would assume as well that boat trailer manufacturers have some inclination as to how the trailer will perform with a boat attached as that is its purpose after all but I don't have specifics on this. The coupler height however does not necessarily have a direct affect on the center of gravity for the trailer because some are mounted on top of the tounge which appears to be the case for you. Therefore, I would not fret too much unless you start to run into issues with stability.
