Will a Thule Spare Me Carrier Block The View Out the Back Window of a 2011 Toyota Rav4

Question:

This looks interesting. But from the picture, it seems to me there is a block of view to the rear window I plan to install on 2011 Rav4 from the top of the carrier, even when no bicycle is in use. Thus, I am on fence to buy this item. How do you think?

There will be a slight visual obstruction if you install a Thule Spare Me 2 Bike Carrier # TH963PRO on the spare tire of your 2011 Toyota Rav4. However, it should not be significant and you should still be able to see behind you well enough if you were backing up or attempting to make a lane change.

If you plan on carrying womens or alternative framed bikes you would want a Thule Bike Adapter Bar # TH982XT. I attached a review video for this product for you to check out also.
