Question:
I was wondering if I could use a duel hitch extension with an additional extension. I want to put a bike rack in the top of the dual extention, while using the other extention about 14” to connect to the trailer. It’s roughly a 1200lb tear trailer being towed by a 04 4Runner with the v8. Ie top of dual would be the bike rack and the under would be an extension with a hitch attached than the trailer.

I do have an option for you but you cannot use multiple hitch adapters together like the dual hitch adapter part # D-192 and the hitch extender part # C45791 for example. This would create too weak of a connection point and would limit your towing capacity to almost nothing. If you need to tow a trailer and haul a bike rack at the same time a much better option for you would be with the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount part # D210 or the Jack-It 2 Bike Rack part # LC429756. If you have a bumper pull trailer then the Hitch-It 2 Bike Rack part # LC731138 can be used instead.
If you have a short tongue on your teardrop trailer then the Jack-It or Hitch-It will be needed but if you have a long tongue on your teardrop trailer then that is when you would use the Curt Multipurpose Ball Mount.
