How is the motor BCD0390-00 supposed to be wired. I have bare wire with wire nuts, without a plug. How are you to figure out which black wire goes to which power lead?

Since the # BCD0390-00 installs by using a connector normally it's hard to know exactly which wire goes where but the easy solution is that you should try connecting them in either configuration and if it works you are good, but if it works in reverse you'd need to reverse the wiring.

I show that motor #BCD0390-00 is the correct replacement for your V2245-50 vent. The fan associated with that motor is #BCD0311-00 if your original spins clockwise or #BCD0409-00 if it spins counter clockwise.

I spoke with my contact at Ventline and she stated that for your V2245-50 exhaust fan you can use the Replacement Fan Motor #BCD0390-00. This will work perfectly with your existing fan.
