Troubleshooting No Running Lights on 2005 Dodge Durango Trailer Connector
Question:
my issue is that my trailer running lights do not work on the trailer. when trying another vehicle, they seem to be fine. both directional and brake lights work. When testing the plug on the 7 way and 4 way plug, using a light tester, I get power with brakes, and directional but no running lights. I changed the connector module where the trailer connector and still no luck. any ideas what might be causing the issue? Fuse # 9 replaced it’s new still no voltage

Try checking fuses 7 - 10 on your 2005 Dodge Durango as they are all for the parking (running) lamps.
If all of them look okay then what you need to do is either trace the wire for your trailer running lights from your 4-Way/7-Way and replace/repair anything that is in bad shape or you can run new 16 Gauge Wire # 16-1-1 from your trailer connector to those functions either at the front of your Durango or by the OEM lighting at the rear. It may be helpful to install a diode like part # RM-690 just to be on the safe side of things.
Other than that the only other thing you can do is take your Durango to a shop and have them look at and repair it for you.
