How to Determine Replacement Hubs for Trailer


Im trying to replace the hubs on an old utility trailer and i have measurements of 1.2 inches at the wides pont and it was a smooth taper down to the threads for the axle nut which at 3/4 inch

Thanks for that information though you do need precise measurements on various points of the spindle in order to get the correct replacement hubs, and you also need to know the capacity of the axles and your wheel bolt pattern.

When measuring you need to use Digital Caliper # 301-17068 and measure your spindle to the thousandths of an inch where the bearings and grease seal ride. You can use the photo I've attached to see exactly where you need to measure on your spindle to get the correct replacement .
