For your 2019 Ram 1500 with the New Body Style I recommend the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # C87FR because it features a hidden crosstube for a clean looking install. I was actually speaking with Curt about this fitting with tow hooks the other day and they said that the pickup cannot have tow hooks. If it does have tow hooks then they need to be removed.

Since you are needing to activate the electric lockout on your surge brake actuator you can either install a 5-Way flat connector like the Curt # C58545 or you could use a 2-Pole Connector like the Pollak # PK12200 and splice the yellow wires to your vehicle reverse function and actuator electrical lockout circuit.
