Replacing Leaking Dual Stage Regulator on Camper

Question:

Hi! I need to replace a leaking regulator - the local RV repair is booked out for 8 weeks so thought it looks simple enough to do myself. Can you confirm if this model is equivalent to the one in the pictures I’ve attached? CAM59313 Also, other than replacing the part with a wrench is there anything special I need to consider while doing the replacement? Like turn the gas off first right! :

Based on the pictures you attached it does look like you have a standard dual stage vertical regulator for which the Camco # CAM59313 that you referenced will work perfectly as a replacement.

You are right that this is a pretty straight forward process so you shouldn't need to wait around for your local RV repair shop. You definitely want to start by turning off your tanks but then it's just a matter of using a wrench to disconnect the fittings so you can remove the existing regulator and install the new one. It looks like your regulator also might be attached to a bracket so you will need to remove those screws as well.
